Do I have to fundraise to participate in Pickleball for the Cure?
Although there is not any fundraising minimum to participate, Pickleball for the Cure was built as a new signature fundraising program to support research and care services for those living with breast cancer. Our hope is that everyone who registers will also become a fundraiser, but it is not a strict requirement.
Can I earn prizes for fundraising?
Abso-dinking-lutely! You can earn great Pickleball for the Cure signature items through your fundraising efforts. As your fundraising level grows, the level of prizes grow with it. One you complete your fundraising, you will receive an email message allowing you to pick your item at or below the highest level you reached. The choice is up to you!
Are there suggestions on how to fundraise?
We have created a participant fundraising toolkit that includes many resources to support your fundraising efforts. Once you have registered, you will be able to access these resources in your participant fundraising center. And as always, our Komen team is ready to step up and help if you need ideas. Can I do a Facebook Fundraiser?
The answer is YES! However, in order for your Facebook Fundraising dollars to show up on your Pickleball for the Cure participant page, you will need to set up your Facebook Fundraiser through the link in the participant center. This integration will automatically allow Facebook to update your Facebook Fundraiser funds on your page.
